you know to the people making comments about him be nervous, so what, did you see the reactions from the spectator, that's the most important thing. as he grows in his skills the "nervousness" will go away and he'll be more comfortable performing.
I thought he did a great job and I could hear a little more "uhmm's" then I wanted to hear but hey the spectator wasn't concerned about that and you can tell he really liked it.
some of you fail to realize that not everyone is a seasoned street performer but at least he's out doing it and getting good responses, thats alot more then most people here will ever do.

Great job kid, it's good to see you out there performing at an early age. Besides the occasional 'umms', I thought this was great. All I can say is: perfect your patter.
I really like these kind of videos, with real performances and people watching. I think you did a great job. Try to stop dribbling cards and doing spreads while talking to them though, just do the trick. Other than that, it was really smooth and you do a good job of "narrating" the trick. Have fun performing.
i would really like to watch this but my computer wont let me. Im not sure y but if any one has any tips let me know, and if you could post this on you tube that would be great.

It was good but don´t be nervous. I saw quite clearly that you were nervous or you have a habbit of always doing something with the cards. Be Natural. And make it a bit slower...i mean the talking you were like trying to get away not to preform. But ill give you a 4/5 because you can always get better! :)
I have common sense:) and I understand Mr.Madman.. I just mean that nervous behavior like riffling the cards and stuff is still hard to control. Thats what being nervous is, you do unmotivated things that you really are not aware of.
And about the patter.. why is it such a taboo to use unoriginal patter. We use other peoples tricks all the time and thats fine but borrowing a patter is not. It´s not like WH is first to relate this trick to poker anyways...
+ he had plenty of place to work on so I don´t get why the card box bothered you so much.. But hey its all about having something negative to say...
Of course you can't STOP being nervous, but I think anyone that used any common sense would realise that Mr.MadMan was saying that the performance was too fidgety and this is due to nervousness. I too found it quite annoying, especially in the beginning. Fidgeting whilst you're talking distracts the spectators and they may not understand a trick lik the invisible palm.
I love how the audiece were talking the the abckground, but you should have watched your angles- people on the right I think were exposed.
Lastly, since your 'table' was quite small, you should have placed your box on the floor. THis just gives you more room to work with.
Oh and about the patter- well, it's very unoriginal as we all know, but if you were talking about poker, RELATE THE DAMN TRICK TO POKER.
Come on... One does not choose to be nervous or not. You can´t just say to someone to stop being nervous. There are many famous magicians that you can tell are a bit uncomfortable when performing. I think its common. And lets face it, you mess it up and you are left looking silly:)
you don´t mime palming so the invisible palm idea does not come across. Also when making the "invisible" card visible don´t drop your hand and then separate the card. Land with the side of the palm aligned with the side of the card. When you flatten the hand from this position the double will separate automatically and it will look as though the card materialize under your hand.
Dropping your hand and then moving it sideways is in my opinion too obvious.
