Not to be a sleight nazi or anything... but the Center double is done wrong and it looks ugly the way you did it.
Please do not try to lecture me on how it does not matter if it's done wrong or not that achieves the same purpose. It looks a whole lot better when you use your middle finger than your index and thumb.
I just wanted to say that he did a original version of this move so he actually did not do it wrong. Anyways I agree with you that Dan and Dave variation is better looking.
My first encounter for the center double was in Card College Vol. 3 and it was described just as Dan and Dave did it.
PS. Oh and one more thing, I do know a couple of people who own Chris Kenner's Out of Control, I believe there is an effect that uses a couple of Center Doubles which I do not know the name of, they all used the Center double using the middle finger rather than this ugly version EVEN if the top or famous magicians used them.
maybe I should lecture you.. because the way he does it is the way the sleight is originally described. This is how Larry Jennings did it, Chris Kenner does it the same way in Totally out of control... Maybe your first encounter with the sleight is the Dan and Dave version....
Nice and simple. There is something I don´t like about those center double lifts... they feel little fishy in general:)
Adjones: You are being just too hard and critical...
Your not going to do this to music any way but don't pull the card out of the clear rap.Turn it upside down and allow the card slowly to fall out of the clear rap, this will show all sides and that the card is inside the clear rap!
I liked the trick. Work on fitting the music in with the trick. it didn't seem to fit nicely. I don't know how to do that....but watching it felt like 2 different things....trick....and music.
