Michael Moschen is known to be a very creative juggler/performance artist. He's one of the main reasons contact juggling became so popular, which, by the way, is where XCM comes from (IMO). Amazingly talented, but his attitude towards female jugglers is unfortunate.

He was most likely juggling and wanted something to add a personal touch to his juggling. Triangles are great for that as the angles provide a dazzling show and consistent path for his balls. Amazing video, I can't fathom the amount of effort and time he put into this. Awesome. Peace :)
