Yes....I think the effect was rather cool. I would do something like this in my "hanging out" magic sessions. Where can this effect be purchased from? Mathieu Bich's stuff is always top notch!
As far as the editing goes.....wow. One of the best edited videos I've seen in a long time! The music, the lighting, the general mood of the video was awesome.

Sorry dude, i was in a bad mood when i wrote that. gf problems lol, mathew bich's tricks can be really cool. I just wouldn't chose that trick to perform for laymen. But the presentation, lighting, ect. was really cool and i now realize it was more about that then the effect itself.
Every single detail of the trick is shown in this video, and nothing has been edited away. This is exactly what it'll look like live.
The cool thing about this trick is that the spectator can shuffle the deck him/herself (without the magician crimping or palming out the card), and the card can be shot out immediately afterwards - not a single cut.
As for the editing again, I really like editing movies and using multiple camera angles. This was all filmed with one camera, and was from the beginning an editing test with one camera and multiple angles.
If you don't like Mathieu Bich's tricks - FINE - this is just me performing one without flashing.

It might be a cool method, but it looks like you are doing something with the cards, few laymen will be impressed with that. if this is the only way you cad present it (with the cascade control looking get ready) then it really doesnt look like it would be worth practicing it. I expected better from Mathieu Bich...
I believe it to be more of a simple demonstration in card manipulation. A quick, cool technical trick - rather than a full blown effect like Control or eXile. Rasmus even categorized it as "Other" as opposed to "Solo Magic".
A great sampling from the creative mind of Mathieu Bich and Rasmus performed it exceptionally well. The production on the video itself was fantastic.
