Witness - First Performance

"Performing Witness by Lee Asher, who personally showed me this trick and signed the DVD at a release signing party in Carmichael, CA. First performance and I let a spectator film it."

not bad overall, but I kinda just thought the whole time, "why is he moving around so much, and bending over at the waist a lot? maybe he has to go bathroom." Was kind of distracting. To me (yes, just my opinion), a trick like whitness, there needs to be more down time between putting the bag in their hand, and revealing the change. Draw attention away from where you want the least attention to be, (where something could have been done). Talk, more, slow down, etc... Hard hitting tricks lose a lot of their "BAM", what have you, when they are done too quickly.

Kudos for uploading the video. Good performance - a few thoughts: I think you draw too much attention to the force, almost arousing suspicion. I think you could clean up the patter some and have it be more or less self explanatory. Also practicing a faster hindu will help it to "feel" more random. I thought your patter was good, but you seemed a little rushed, in my humble opinion. Neverthless, great video and kudos to you for actually performing it and filming it.

Hello, thanks to everyone who commented on my video. It was my very first performance, just watched the DVD, practiced it once as Lee was going through it on the DVD, and just performed. If you have any suggestions as far as different ways to perform I would LOVE some feedback. I would like to make myself a better magician. And for steve, I saw Lee Asher live and he personally did this trick for me in carmichael california at a store called Grand Illusions :]

hmmmmmmm. well pretty cool but u used the same patter with Lee. It is better to come up with your own pattert and presentation of the effects and also try to adapt the effect in the circumsatnces your in instead of learning/using the exact patter that Lee uses. This way u can make the effect "yours". check out "d+m artist manifesto"
