That's a great video to see, you're off to a good start dude. I especially like how you can have fun with the audience as you perform. Not a lot of people can do this as they take themselves too seriously, it is even worse when they do this and they're a magician. There is a great old gag you can do for the take-appart where you make a simple gimmick where a fake tail feather gimmick sticks up after you take the lid of the take-appart off. You then push it back down and take the sides away. Its a great kicker and a big FU to the audience haha just when hey think they know where it is going. Keep it up!

As it is a manipulation routine, patter is not needed, so not to worry on that side. Especially dove Magic, music is meant to be playing, as the idea of manipulation is to time your Magic to the music etc.
Well done on your performance, it is never easy standing in front of your peers. However, the routine could be a little more fast tempo at times, not all the time obviously, as they have to appreciate what they are seeing. Also some logic is required. You place the doves in a box, and move them to another box to end. Could they not have been placed in the vanishing box to start with? yes in the bar box they can still see the doves, but even with the other box, they still know where the doves are. Also, with the second one, you place it in the bar box, to take it out seconds later. Dont take this in the wrong way, it is constructive criticism to aid you and further your magic.

no thanks i really appreciate when criticism comes up and i agree with the two boxes thing but it came in a set so i just used it :) and i think its to show that they are always there until that one moment ya know but thanks i agree on the faster paced thing this was my first dove performance in front of people and i was a little nervous but im doing it again and hopefully ill film it myself and do a better job :)
hey thanks for your thoughts i enjoy when people give me some idea's to my performance. I think that would have been better to throw in some talking in there too, but for some reason my schools talent show only gave me 5 minute :( so i just wanted to fit in as much as possible.

lol very cool dude. nice song selection too. u defintely did great tricks for your choice of audience. they seemed to love it too. I like the girls comment in the middle of the vid "How the hell is he doing this" lol. well done.
