Nice video. I agree on your point about flourishing, but I also agree with the other points made. I think when a magician watches a performance on flim, they watch it for the reactions rather than the trick itself. (I did like watching you performe it none the less) Although one thing about the trick itself, when I do it it hurts like hell. Im not sure why, maybe Im using the wrong type of thread, anyway, when you first started to perform the effect, did it hurt, and if so, how'd you make it not hurt? Thanks.
Hey there Jack. I'm sorry, but this is not the most you are capable of... I felt that Thread was executed badly (I can't say how without exposure), it was not a performance yet you called it one, the presentation was poor, and it was honestly like a stereotypical webcam video, but outside.

I agree, give the kid a break here guys...here's the thing...we're supposed to be a brotherhood of magicians helping each other so then when it comes time for our young friend here to go in front of his audience he is prepared. Let's give him some constructive ideas to help enhance the performance. We all had to start somewhere and for all we know this may have only been one of the first few times he's done this, so he's a bit nervous, and wanted to offer it up for some help. Of course, I could be wrong...but none the less here are just a few suggestions even though he didn't ask haha...
try doing it silent. I do wayne's thread as my opener now and I do it totally silent, no talking before at all. It is amazing how strong that can be. Songs can really enhance a performance, but the wrong song can kill it. Sometimes silence is the loudest form of expression.
also, don't forget the "move" with your mouth open while pulling the other end of the thread from your eye.
Try getting the knack of looping the thread that is coming out of your eye over one of your upper lid eyelashes...from a few feet distance this look like it is actually coming from the pupil of your eye, not underneath it...
These are minor though, take them for what its worth, you know what fits you and your style best...

i kinda agree with cringe and zapper, unless ur gonna put new moves/ routines or post performances in front of people why bother putting it up?......go out there and do stuff dont just post yourself doing what has already been done 100s of times........I would really love to see more performances be it flourishing or magic but done in front of people so we can se the reactions.....i myself am planing on uploading some performances as soon as i get a camera :S hahaha...but anyways ...im not trying to be mean or anyhting just saying that posting the same type of vids again and again is not doing anything productive...

Who cares about webcam performances?
Everyone saw Thread, we all know the effect, if someone doesn't know it, he can look at Wayne's performances.
Magic should be done for people.
