To me it just looks like a bottom deal. If the spec says yes then you deal from the top, if no then you deal from the bottom. Not that impressed. Everyone seems to be trying to capitalize on the recent election! Sorry, thumbs down for me.

/\ what you said is true, it would take a massive set up, HOWEVER, when you perform this trick, it would be wise to set it up twice, and cut the second set up to the middle with a crimp card next to it. If they ask you to do it again, all you have to do is cut the cards and you're set up again

ok so i'm definitely going to get banned for this. i didn't like this trick and i'll tell you why: SO MUCH SETUP! i didn't even buy the trick and i can already tell that the setup is huge! its the kind of trick you will show people, only to have them say 'SHOW ME AGAIN IF YOUR A REAL MAGICIAN" but by then, you cannot restore the setup. for chris' sake, i won't expose why i believe that, but it seems pretty impractical to me. cheers, seth

at baymie: alright, but my point stands. you are both professional magicians, and both are very skilled with a deck of cards, but i appreciate your standpoint. at deadcow: it sure is a good thing that im a flourisher and not a magician then, don't you think so?

Actually cardmasterseth, a real magician would never show a trick twice.

I actually timed this with d+M earlier today, and the setup took exactly 60 seconds.

if your chris kenner. what about all the magicians that browse these forums that have not been in the business of magic for almost their entire life. still 90 seconds? if so, then the trick is worth it. @michael: true, a good point, but it may be difficult to execute a false shuffle with crimped cards :P @bigmac: what???

Setup for this effect takes about 90 seconds in either version - simple or advanced.

this a very nice piece of close up magic. BUT it reminds me of another trick I seen today by Criss Angel and Jonny Thompson called coincedence. That's weird coicedently 4/5
