What I normally do is put the cards back in the box, then rest the box on the spectators hand (barcode facing them) and ask them to stare at the box. I then ask them if they've see anything odd, most don't. I then say 'Look at the barcode' and that's when the smile slowly creeps across their face. Not a miracle by any means, but people seem to like it as a simple bit of magic. Nice job by the way, you did well.

That was full of awesome. ;) Simple hits hard. I used to do the bar code reveal as well. Not so much anymore, but I used to. Great to see a real performance. We need more videos like yours on here. :) -Doug

what i do is i rub the deck against the box were the reveal is, to make it look like that it changed then

Nice reactions. My Advice: With that sort of trick, don't let the specs worry so much on shuffling the cards, since the trick doesn't have to do with finding the card in the deck. Anyway, it was fun to watch.

When people say oh that was already written on the box i usually respond with yep because companies are always typing in spectators cards on boxes now a days.

Nice, I have not actually seen anybody do a barcode trick to an audience before.

Yeah I haven't seen anyone else either. It works pretty well although sometimes I get "That's already written on the box!" I don't know exactly why that happens...but if it does, they still don't know how I got them to pick that certain card. Anthony Nguyen
