Nothing about this performance, just the effect itself, I DESPISE the lack of justification for adding a few more cards to the right hand half. I know it is necessary method-wise but it makes NO SENSE otherwise.

Great job...I loved it! I bought andthensome and know how it is done but you did it great!

Guys, give him a break... I'd love to see your better performances. Remember, it's only been out for a few weeks. and considering that I think he did a great job. Plus, it's Dan and Dave... how good could it be?

I was ok. Like other people said the vanish and pop out move were to spaced out. But still good nuff for laymen. 4/5

Liked it very much. The "pop-out" was very well executed.

Hey dude, nice performance but the only complaint I have is that the vanish was too slow. The vanish needs to be instant, not shrinking. That's about it from me. -SM P.S. The pause inbetween is fine don't let anyone listen to the others.

and so it begins... nothing wrong with your performance, i thought it was very nicely done, just don't pause between the vanish and the reproduction.

Everyone appears to think that just because in their teaser video, i should perform the production as soon as the card vanishes... this is not how they present the effect in their performance, but either way, its still a portal/card across effect right?

Dan and Dave DO pause between the vanish and the reproduction. Watch their performance from andthensome dvd!

3/5 from me it was alright i guess but as zach said the double was a little shabby and i have to say when you vanished the card it was so damn slow it was obvious what happened to it speed it up and use some personality your voice was so boring obviously this is one of the first of many damn portal videos oh well.

I understand where your coming from here, but performing for cameras is nothing like performing to spectators, this isnt how i would perform to specs, i would involve them, but thanks..

The double wasn't great, but the ending was very nice.

What exactly was wrong with the double zachmonky? As Michael says, it's fine, just because i didn't perform it EXACTLY as Dan and Dave teach? I understand that i held the double which isn't really needed, but in performance, this ensures the double never splits, it doesnt slow down or unsmoothen the effect...just my thoughts, but thanks for your opinion none the less.. The double was FINE, not every freaking move has to be flashy.

Beautifully done. I do agree with Dome1106 however...I would treat the vanish and production in the same way you would in a 3fly routine. The economy of motion in D&D stuff is never short of brilliant. -gC

pure joy to watch excellent handling!

I think you shouldn't pause in between the vanish and the ''jump''.. It looks better if it was done like simultaneously? Just my thought....

I don't get why... Nearly everybody who uses patter... from a dan and dave effect... speaks exactly like... your card...*voice trails off into deep tone* Nonetheless I felt this was very nicely executed, clearly you've spent quite a bit time on it and it shows =) - Sean
