It was so funny and also awesome i love david blaine he is one of my favorite magicans he is really really awesome and you all will see in something like ten years there will be my name i train really hard to become as good as he :D
Try to see the bigger picture. Sometimes, a few fun "spoiled" tricks can add a fun amount of energy to balance out and support the actual magic being performed seriously. It is all about appropriate production of "show" and or "video" to suit the audience. The people in the audience, watching at home etc... were watching Ellen, in the first place, not Blaine (for the most part). If they wanted to see just magic, they would go to a magic show. Her added touch to the video was great, if not completely necessary as well.
