The routine is a combination of standard moves, as far as I know it is not published as an individual routine anywhere. As for the video quality, yeah it could have been better. I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't someones amateur video filmed at a magic convention. I've seen other videos done by Ricky Jay, and they are much better.
dragon521, i don't remember the title of the song that's playing. i've had it on my computer for the longest time and I rediscovered this vid. the original video has no music so i decided to put some to it. ill find out what it's called if you'd like
I'm not saying Ricky Jay would do something like this, but when they cut the camera after the long series of supposedly false shuffles, they could have easily re-ordered the deck and started the camera again. And, when he did do the actual false shuffles later on they were much more sloppy. Did anyone else notice this?
I'm not accusing him, but, why couldn't it have been uncut with a zoom out?
BTW this was amazing!! Ricky is a beast.
