Ishkabibble Sandwich

Thanks for the comment guys. I know it was a little rusty since I had only practiced the effect for a couple of hours :) I just wanted some feedback on it. Ana I really don't know why it took me so long to get a break. I guess I was having a bad day :p It flows alot better now, but the only thing I still have some trouble with is the Top shot. I always need a couple of them to get it right. Thanks for the tips Eric, I will definetly experiment with it. And when I showed this to my friends, they sure didn't think it was boring :) Thank you for a great effect among so many boring sandwishes!! /Mike

Not bad at all. My suggestion would be to use a deck that provides a bit more contrast. The Black D+D cards are almost all black and you really can't appreciate the fact that the card has arrived between the sandwich cards until you separate the hands. A blue or red deck of Bicycles would look much better. Regarding the initial move itself, looks great. Forget about the guys who say it looks boring. The REAL test isn't going to come from those who judge your performance based on a web video, but rather by those who you perform for live. I promise you, at the speed you're performing at now, with another deck of cards with a different back design, your audiences will be floored. I also encourage you to try the second phase. It's even more visual and looks phenomenal. I just spent time with Bill Kalush and David Blaine at Magic-Con and they asked I teach it to them. Keep up the good work and let your AUDIENCE rather than your PEERS dictate what looks good and what doesn't....unless your audience IS your peers, at which point, you're screwed....lol

You should check out the Cascade Control. I think it makes the effect so much more magical. As soon as you start flipping and/or moving packets around...people suspect something. With Cascade...they see it in the middle. Just my opinion. And where was the other half of the effect? :(

its amazing how bored I instantly get as soon as I see a trick that should have patter playing the same old tracks that everyone on this site uses...

Woah wait, this is not new? Incredible input there by the almighty Foppa. It was nicely executed, could have done with some patter rather than just an old loop we have all heard before. Needs touching up on pretty much all the sleights, especially the Top Shot. All in all, not bad, keep at it, 3 star.
