It's just a different approach on the usual two card transpo with a dupe. i don't exactly see how it's original.

You said it "a different approach" that is where the originality stems from. Most original magic nowadays stems from different approaches to old plots. You could use your argument for anything, Based on your view one could argue that any card effect is a "different approach to a card trick, i don't see the originality" Good job I like the idea, lots of potential!
