Wow... lots of haters! Blake and Calen are obviously uber creative - and that's what they've been hired to do. A lot of you haven't seen Blake's material yet... it's great!! Congrats to both of them.

mate, that is himself, ..im not gonna take sides here, ..but i kinda do agree with everyone else except u, ..magic nowadays has to be more organic, and unique, and in some cases, reinventing good old classics, yea there maybe some bad tnr's out there, but there are great ones to, ..guy hollingworth's reformation, one of my favourites danny garcia with his take on tnr, and so many more, and these guys released them so that both u, and i can chose to like it or not, but dont call them out man, thats just low, isnt a community suppose to look out for each other, and support what each one does?, i think t11 has done a greatjob ever since they started, and i wish them all the best in the future, jbayme and team, keep up the good work guys also, callen is one sick creative magician, a friend of mine recently met him, and i cant wait for that oppurtunity myself, .. to end, congrats to callen and blake on being chosen to be on David copperfields team, ..all the best to you boys, maybe we'll see david doing dresscode on stage someday..XD

Just what we need another tnr.

What is up with you little kids thinking that everytime someone gets criticized that someone is jealous? Realize that noone cares how good you are or not! Ill be willing to bet all of you l talk smack about Criss Angel, does that mean your jealous of his fame and such? No you just dont like the guy. You seriously need to get your head from where the sun dont shine and come to the understanding that we arent jealous just ****ed that magic is selling out. Everything has become about the money and not the power of the effect.

Calen and Blake got hired because they deserved it. Period. By insulting them you are also insulting Kenner and Copperfield for making the decision to hire them. As consultants they don't NEED TO PERFORM. THEY NEED TO CONSULT AND CREATE. The amount of immaturity here is appalling.

Looks great. Some people seem to be jelous of those who are doing well. At least T11 are bringing new effects to the market that suit the new generation of performers. For the art to be modernised and adapted to the modern generation we need to see alot more people like Blake and Callen, I think its great that their creative talent is being recognised, some people need to chill out and not be so jelous.. one day they will realise.

But one thing is right. T11 goes down. Where is Out of control DVD? Where is Tom Isaacson DVD you promised. Where is WIRE? You bring new Artists and "new stuff", but you can't finish job you promised.

I have also seen Blake perform this right in front of me, and I can say that it is amazing. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of people, but I think it is a bit immature to be calling Blake and Calen out like that. They're both incredible magicians, and I'm sure Kenner and Copperfield know what they're doing.

Having seen Blake perform this for me 1 foot from my face, I can tell you that this is NOT just "another" TnR. THIS folks, is pure genius! It has been YEARS since an effect had me so intrigued that I literally wasted almost 3 decks of cards trying to learn this...with Blake's help of course. I promise you that you will not be disappointed with what you see come the 29th. All I can leave you with is this: 360 de-effin-grees... Mike

This teaser intrigues me on many levels. I'm very interested to see the trailer. 29th you say? I know where I'll be. ;)

Arrg! I was on too big a soapbox/rant. Suffice to say that there's a LOT of WORK in a "dream job" ... Chris most likely needed folks who were equally artists AND engineers. Not an easy combo to find in today's world.

I don't know Chris Kenner (personally) but I'll bet the hiring process is closer to Chris acting like a talent scout for a professional sports team than a director of HR. And like so many fields/ disciplines/ communities, a known/scouted commodity will always beat an unknown commodity - especially known/scouted commodities that have been out there doing the work and exhibiting the skills that the employer is looking for. This is how you break the catch-22 inherent in these types of positions. I sincerely doubt Calen and Blake got into magic because they specifically dreamt of being on David creative team from day one. (But it's fun to think about. Imagine Calen saying to himself "Hey, if I could only figure out a way to quickly change my shirt in front of a spectator and then on top of that also figure out a way to snatch their card from the deck with my teeth, I bet David Copperfield will give me a call ...") If you doubt my argument, then here's an exercise for you: create a proposal for a blockbuster video game, write a script for a movie that's better than all the dreck that's in the theaters, or make a video of yourself doing a scene that exhibits how you're a much better actor than anyone currently on television and submit it to the appropriate source in the appropriate manner (exercise within the exercise: are you sure you know the appropriate source and the appropriate manner?) Then go quit your day job. Don't have enough confidence in your submission for that last step? OK. Then just keep doing what you're doing until they call. Because either way you just know that within a week (or certainly a month) you'll be making that fast-track transition to your dream job. FYI: if you aren't already living in a city where these professions are already practiced, your odds of being selected are dramatically reduced. Dramatically. Yea this is only blakes surface. He has other things comming out. I do feel they hyped this up a little too much, but ive seen this and it looks pretty tight. But keep an eye out for his other things they are pretty clutch too. it is a pitty they couldnt get some of blakes stuff out sooner before he got all this recognition and leave people to wonder what he has to offer, but thats how it goes. so just chill out guys and if you work hard enough, stay postive and are as creative as this kid then you might be workin for Copperfield someday
