Why aren't people like Alan Rorrison, Alex Pandrea, Blake Vogt, Ben Seidmen, B. Smith, Eric Simmatis, Calen Morelli, Chris Mayhew, Dan Hauss, David Jade, Eric Jones, Eric Ross, Emran Riaz, etc... included in as artists?

You've got to except the new concepts/people with open arms. Theory11 has been all but quality so far with their releases and decks. A lot of effort and most of all quality goes into releasing each effect and the new people they add into the team have some very creative minds. Theory11 in my mind is something to embrace along with all the others, RSVP, E, Penguin, etc.... Shouldn't be the only thing you go to for magic resources, but it's quite an addition to the magic fraternity.

I have nothing against Michael, but I think card MAGIC shouldn't even mix all that much with cardistry. They are different types of entertainment. Theory11 is turning more and more into a Cardistry site, and I'm starting to lose hope with this site. I was looking forward to a great MAGIC project, there havent been too many good routines lately, mostly little small tricks, changes and moves. I miss old Theory11 with great routines from Wayne, Lee, Danny, Joel, etc.

Actually, magic IS cardistry. Cardistry was a term that Andrei Jikh used incorrectly to describe card flourishing, people didn't know the background history behind it so they accepted it. Many famous card magicians from years past use the term Cardistry correctly to describe card magic, having nothing to do with cards in a non-magic way.

We posted the first teaser for a new magic effect just 3 days ago, and released a new hardcore card magic tutorial with Jason England just a month ago - in between six (!!) new decks. We work quickly, but we value quality over quantity. If you're into magic and not cardistry, stay tuned for a true, new miracle: Mirage. Amazing!
