Quantum Levitation

Tel-Aviv University demonstrates Quantum superconductors locked in a magnetic field. AKA looks like real magic, and the thingy levitates on top of the other thingy.

I did my science fair project on these a couple years back. It took me forever to find a place that sold liquid nitrogen that was near me. You can buy it at a welding shop.

Mr. Bayme, you're either a slow redditor or someone that keeps tabs on internet news when it is released to the normal public.

So we've now lost levitation. When science finally produces Star Trek's transporter, the art of magic will cease to exist. Damn you, Gene Roddenberry.

...It's just a superconductor over magnets... Although it's really cool, it's nothing new at all

Unless you can convince me otherwise, I think it's a special type of magic jelly that makes things levitate and float over a smokey cloud of awesomeness. Okay, maybe I'm wrong.

@ZachMueller - I'm going to make you a magical belt out of these superconductor thingies. Then we're going to spin you around real fast and see if you can float.
