Here is an idea I'm working on where the magician can make a card float on top of a borrowed deck. Completely impromptu too!

This video kind of upsets me........I've developed my own similar to say the least methods of a impromptu borrowed deck Lev, And mine is much cleaner and has a great twist that makes it seem actually impossible there's no reason to post a video that's clearly obvious. I'm sorry but you need alot of work and i hope your not performing that for anyone.
I think you should make it shorter. To me it's the fact that the levitation lasts more than two seconds that gives away the method. You shouldn't allow the spectator to get the time necessary to figure out the method.
Ah, hang on I see that he IS using another card, sorry. But the comment still stands because that's what most other people would think.
My apologies, I'm new to all this. lol
You can do it more effective and to record a video from a different points.. To my mind it would be better than your variation, but as i know you do it using extra card to levitate this one. the same levitation we can do with a double stick tape ) however 5/5 )
I don't believe he's using any other cards. He's simpley picking it up with his thumb. If he isn't, then thats what the audience will believe and will not be impressed in the slightest. Like Magicrox127 says, if he can do it with his thumb visible then it would look great.
its a neat idea but considering that your thumb isnt showing you might as well just be lifting the card up with your thumb, if you could maybe do it in straddle grip and do the move with your pinky instead it might look cleaner...just thoughts :)
