Fooling Derren Brown

One of my YouTube friends from India went all the way to UK to watch Derren's Svengali and did a trick for him after the show.

Derren point to his heart and looked at that way when he asked to think of the suit first time. I think he did that on purpose.

@The performer - That's cool that you had the chance to meet him and share it with us. =) That said, I don't know that I would showcase this for getting gigs. It looked like you made a mistake attempting a classic force and then did it correctly the second time around. I think it is misleading to suggest that you fooled him when he, like many magicians, could think of many ways to accomplish the effect with a more impressive presentation. It's not that I'm not impressed with the effect, but it seems like most spectators wouldn't believe that you fooled him. This would be a great video to hold onto to show your progression in a few years. I hope that doesn't sound rude, it's quite courageous to have attempted it, I doubt I would have done any better myself and it looks like you will learn something from the experience.

Yes it was an amazing experience. My idea wasn't to show him something that might just get me a gig. Just the feeling of meeting him was amazing, and the opportunity to perform for him was even more overwhelming. As for the method, I didn't use a classic force for it, I just got way to nervous the first time around, am sure you'd understand why. You didn't sound rude at all, I know there are hundreds of methods to do this, this is just one of them. :) My idea wasn't to fool him either, I just wanted to perform. I spoke to him after the video was over and he did say that he had a few ideas how this could have been done but didn't know which method I'd used. And yes, this is indeed my most treasured video. Thanks for your comment :) PS: I'd love for you to like my Facebook page, helps me get events! /karansinghmagic19
