Hello people and thanks for all the (mostly positive !) feedback.
Now as for the questions :
-No I didn't go for originality, because I am not much of a creater (the triangle thing shows that) but I still try to put some original stuff (pen spinning, coins and more juggling were filmed, but there wasn't enough space on the video.)
-I am happy to see that you liked the editing, since it was my very fist try with Vegas 6.0
-Speed up ? I don't get it, nothing is speed up, I think it is a very stupid thing to do, even for a one month beginner, so I wouldn't even consider speeding up...
-The change of background was first to make the video more interresting and because I was in Spain, and the scenery is great, so yeah, we can't really see as mush as what I hoped, but it must be better than a messy bedroom no ?
-Thanks again !!
i agree with babycat I'm surprised some of these guys didn't seem to like this... this is probably one of my favorite videos ever!
you obviously spent a LOT of time on it. and i'm impressed you had the discipline to practice for 8 months before posting your first video! I actually liked the different backgrounds ... anyways its great to see a variety of fans, springs, spreads, sculpture displays etc. to break up all the cuts.
5/5 from me dogg!!!
why do xcmers make videos of themselves.. with cards, outside in random places. it's like: 'oh look, now he's near a flower patch with his cards (there must be some connection between the flowers and the cards!!??!! oooOOOoo... and now near a railing.' what's the significance? like i totally understand videos of like kids in restaurants/shops practicing: one might actually practice xcm in a place like that.. but when does anyone--EVER--squat next to a few flowers. even without cards is weird enough right?
anyway.. just my two cents, didnt mean to rant.
peace

i never said mcdonalds is a better place buddy. what i meant is that when filming something, you dont want to make it look artificial. you want it to appear to be the visual representation of the actual event of performing xcm/magic/whatever. would you ever perform xcm live near a patch of flowers.... WHILE SQUATTING!!? no, but you might practice/perform in a shop/mall or whatever..
just admit im god it will make it easier for you hahahaha
peace,

Not bad for only 8 months flourish experience...nevertheless I think your skill is good enough, so that there is no need to speed up the several sequences by editing.
I really enjoyed the video.
It was smooth and well edited.
Very good for only 8 months of training.
Also I like how you through in some juggling in the middle.
5/5
I really didn't like it too much,
The music is in the "Clueless 1" tutorial by Fiddling steve, whenever I hear the song i have high expectations. Also, a No Surprises is used in my collab video resecently posted.
As for the moves, I thought it was editied well and was refreshing to see some stuff besides cards (juggling, spanish landscapes etc etc) but the moves were kind of choppy. Nothing really stood out, and I didn't see much originality. The Charlier/triangle routine was strange, it seemed like alot of movement to make something too simple.
3/5
Great job! I really liked it! You are very good for only 8 months. The only suggestion that I have is to work on the smoothness of some of your moves (J5 in particular). Nice choice of music. It was a very relaxing video throughout, and I hope that is what you were going for! Lol. This is definitly one of the better first videos out there. :)
Keep up the good work!
Brian
P.S. In the juggling clip, you look a bit like Jonas.
