The great thing about these comment competitions is not the fact that you win a free deck, its the fact that their shipped on the house if you ask me. Too damn expensive to order decks to Belgium... Oh and definitely dark purple for the Monarchs :)

Royal Purple backs with thinner borders (make them gold if possible), embossed with metallic gold foil accents and a silk finish would be the PERFECT POISON fit for a KING ! ( and how about more emphasis in the design or a change in the King of Spades?)

An inverted Monarchs deck with deep purple backs would be amazing in my opinion I would definetly get myself one if they were made
