Which just goes to show that preference is subjective and supposed feel is often nothing but a mental creation.
Well, I think you´re right altogether.
I bought a pack of bicycles a week ago and all I can say it sucks.
They feel terrible (I tested it with eyes closed to make sure it´s not just a placebo effect and could ALWAYS feel the difference between my other bikes and the new pack, without even thinking about), terrible...TERRIBLE....first I thought: damn, that´s my sandpaper....opened my eyes...oh no, it´s my new pack of bikes
As if this wasn´t enough, the pips are shrunked. No problem, that will be fixed in the future, but that horrible feel is a show-stopper. Maybe it was just my pack, don´t know.
But it´s getting better. The blue deck was non-traditionally cut, the red deck traditionally cut.
That annoyed the heck out of me. It´s a game of chance what you´ll get (off-printed or not, flimsy inferior feel or not, bad cut edges or not, differences in spreading ablilities and now even different cuts).
Constant quality seems to be an impossible endeavor for USPCC. I´m not expecting miracles, but that reminds me of the surprise-bags of my childhood.
If that´s the new standard they´re striving for, I´m done with them.
