Any Opening Suggestions For My Stage Magic Show

Hey guys!

My magic show consists of Card Manipulations, D-Lights, and Dancing Canes. Im a little unsure for a quick opening. Thinking starting out with a few flourishes but now im thinking about using PANIC as my opening, changing my red deck into my manipulating cards??!!?? Or i could just take an object trow it into the air turning into a bunch of cards.

Please give me some advice or suggestions, Thanx :D

Depending on your venue, I'd recommend against switching one deck for another if the two are noticeably different. To the audience this suggests that one deck does one thing, while the other must do something else. And this, in turn, leads to a lack of wonder for the magic and more for what it is those cards do differently. Not good times.

I have seen some magicians do manipulation acts that started or ended with "throw streamers," to much oohs and aahs. Throw streamers look like they explode out of your hand in a TON of tiny paper streamers that go on for a short while. You end up with a nice wad of paper streamer at the end.

If you like the idea, let me know and I'll give you another idea to run with.
