What do you present your 'magic' as?

It really depends. Usually I don't talk about whether or not what I'm doing is real unless I feel as if I have to. I just present my effect and let the reactions roll. If somebody asks me how I've done something I'll either make up some bunk explanation as an obvious joke, or I'll say "magic." On the other hand, if somebody comes up to me and asks in a freaked-out fashion, "Oh my God, is that real, are you doing real magic?" I'll generally say, "No, it's a trick. There's a trick to everything I do." Why? Because I don't want to send anyone home thinking I'm channeling demonic forces or anything like that. I'll maintain my character as long as it's entertaining, but when somebody gets serious and puts the question to me as to whether or not what I'm doing is "real" magic, I'm more than happy to admit that it's simply sleight of hand, and I'm just doing it for fun.
