All videos rated 4.5+ make an appearance on theory11, though some are still in the content queue while a bug is being fixed. But t11 will still accept cardistry tutorials -- so if people submit new tutorials (or old tutorials they had on DN, for that matter) they could be posted on t11 as well.

Hey card artists, Welcome Vinnie C. as the first moderator of the theory11 cardistry forum (and consequently the first moderator on theory11)! He was a moderator on Decknique and did a great job over there. Along with the switch over I've added him without hesitation as a moderator here on...

Just made a change to all the videos in the media section that should make them load anywhere from 2 to 4 times faster now. There is still an issue in certain videos (if they were WMV files) that the audio and video aren't synchronized, but I'm looking into a good solution for that one too...

It's still on Decknique for the time being. And if you had a video posted on Decknique that's not currently on t11, it may be in the content queue -- or just go ahead and re-submit it anyways.

If the video isn't on Theory 11, the person's always free to re-submit their video and it may be posted. It was just a for a big bang of a start.

Funnily enough, there is no mention of Ulmen in there :) Ulmen is a little city in Germany, where De'vo and his friends (and family?) get together (sometimes inviting other members of his forum) and challenge themselves to be creative and to push their limits in the art of card manipulation.

Good point. Of course right now it's not much of a problem since the media system is fairly fresh and it's mostly cardistry videos, but we'll keep that in mind and if it becomes a problem we should be ready for it.

The magic sections don't actually restrict you to cards... notice they're called things like Solo Magic, not Solo Card Magic :) Only cardistry has its own section because it is not considered magical.

The goal is to get Theory 11 up and adequate enough for the cardistry community so that it will take what Decknique did and become more, not less. We got a great first step and I think as time goes on you'll see even more and more progress for the cardistry community here.

Oh, I didn't notice that. I think they will be enabling it in the near future, after the website starts to get into a steady rhythm after the initial OMG THEORY11 LAUNCHED craze. I will be sure to remind them :) Thanks for bringing that up.

Everybody starts from no knowledge. So did you. Just be glad there are lots of people willing to look into cardistry and learn more about it. Can't just push new people out or nobody will ever learn! Theory 11 will be a huge task -- informing the world about this amazing art :)

I am definitely not leaving :) I will continue staying on especially to keep developing the media system, and I'll be working to try and help make sure cardistry gets the recognition it deserves, to get the word out, and to set things straight. As far as I'm concerned there's been a lot of...

Well there is more to come as time goes on, but a cardistry section in the forums (rock on) and a giant media system (formerly known as Decknique) are a couple that come to mind.

I'll miss Decknique too. But like I said over there I think this will be a very exciting time and I hope you look forward to what there is to come too :smile:... I mean :)
