    Trying to Remove Exposure Videos

Fellas, I have have I have a nice conversation with the individual involved and he has agreed to remove the tutorials for the Wire effects that our customers pay for. Please do not bash him on his Youtube channel or elsewhere as he was very understanding of why it is ethically wrong. Thanks for...

    Walk-around for children

Wateraqua, Unfortunately, not many of the youngsters are going to enjoy card magic. Some of the 10 years olds may, if they can follow something like a quick sloppy triumph, or 2 card monte, etc. but for the most part they could care less about cards. I am not saying don't perform card...

    Good Magic Sets For Begineers

Arman, This typically happens A LOT. That is why many magicians will have items for sale after a show (not bday parties) but other events that may take place in a gym, outdoor venue, etc. Things that are easy for kids to use like the plastic ball and vase, rising wand, mini plastic zig zag...

    Designing a Website

I use http://www.bludomain.com/ and have been pretty happy after 3 years of service with them. There are really nice templates to purchase, it is easy to update whenever you want, and is easy for beginners. You don't need to know anything about html code or any complicated programs that might...

Whats the best and most simple T&R out there?

When done correctly and with proper practice Garcia's original Torn looks phenomenal. You have a little bit of angle issue but with good audience management you'll be fine.

impromptu surrounded everyday objects tricks ?

As Randy has stated, you need to head towards rubber band magic. They are easy to carry and can be performed completely surrounded in most cases. Look up Crazy Man's Handcuff's, Traveling Cash, the Touch DVD, and many many others. You may also want to look into ring and string routines as these...

Playing cards pop up and down?

It is the humidity of the climate / environment you are in and also the humidity of your hands, how long you use the deck, etc. There are many threads already posted on this issue with cards. You may want to search "deck click" and see what pops up on our forums. The easiest thing I do is...

We've been dreaming. The Mystery Box.

It is like the Ark of the Covenant.....upon opening tomorrow all members faces will melt just like in Indiana Jones. Okay Okay...that's a small stretch, but it should be exciting!

Looking for some Hardhitting Mentalism Routines

Are you looking for actual mentalism or magic effects that appear to be mental. For example: I am not a mentalist but I will do effects like Free Will, Chris Kenworthy's peak wallet, etc. Craig Browning can chime in a bit more if you are speaking of the former. You may want to look into...

    Just A Thought

With all due respect, this is a magic community and although yes, many of us have other hobbies which we enjoy such as video editing, photography, music, etc., why clutter the boards with another section? That is one reason I dislike the Magic Cafe. There is an over abundance of threads and it...

Important question for the hobbyist or worker...

I don't believe there is a set number. Nothing is set in stone. In the initial stage of becoming a magician, you will go through the phase of "I want, I want, I need this...." and you will waste tons of money trying to acquire as much magic as you can. This is an exciting but frustrating phase...

Do you think this is original? Do you like it?

Your push back at 0:09 is a bit obvious (try to wrist kill the deck some when pushing that card back / down) and I do know there are a TON of pop out moves already in print similar to that.

    Is this original?

Hmm....it does look like a nice little transpo, but I am not sure if it is indeed original. The first thing that it reminds me of is a 1 and 5 dollar bill transpo that I do in a spectators hand. I first thought you were going to get the signatures to jump spots because that would have been sweet.

    Helvetica Deck

Well, I am going to be honest and brutal. Unfortunately, for me, the design doesn't look to appealing. It is way too plain and yes I understand that is the "look" it is supposed to have. Just my two cents.

    Kids Show Questions

R1's advice is spot on and basically is the same from me. You may have some trouble with little ones around the age of 4 as they don't really know and understand the Do's and Don'ts at shows. Sometimes it is good to have an adult sit by the really young children. I really frown upon performing...

We've been dreaming. The Mystery Box.

I'll give you guys a hint of what is in the box. It is small, furry, white and brown, and you DO NOT want to feed this thing after midnight. We imported a few from Ancient China. Ha Ha. Actually....I have no clue at all what is in the box. Sorry.

    Suitable tricks for children?

As David has mentioned, he and I have posted way too much info on this topic all ready to keep retyping things. Please use the search function on children's magic, kid's magic, entertaining kids, etc. and you should find plenty. Also, I am not positive, but some hospitals do require a...

    Impossible Bottle

Hmmm....call me crazy, but you stated that you have a method...correct? But then you turn around and contradict your statement by asking for a tutorial? I don't think many members are going to be willing to help you out on that one.
