I think in the right instance, some form of gesture can be GOLD. Not necessarily clicking your fingers, but if you frame something right, a simple thing like a 'blow' can send shivers down people's spines. I agree that some gestures are very cheesy, but creating a magic moment is what it's all...

My official prediction for this event is that the Laker's will win. The game will lean towards the opposition for an amount of time, but it'll be clear who the winning side will be. Or maybe it'll be the EXACT opposite of what I just said ;) D.

You don't necessarily want to do 3 tricks with a cellphone in one set - maybe it's just me not really liking cell stuff, but mix it up a bit, you should look at maybe grabbing one trick from each of the groups you set and create some kinda flow, you know? D.

I think the key message in the post is that thru an obsession with magic we have all sacrificed things, but don't let that put you off continuing down that path as the knowledge and the skills you learn are very valuable and you may well regret leaving them behind. D.

Hey man, I saw your video earlier in fact. Looks good. Only things I'd consider cutting is the floating cig, etc, as it didn't fit with the rest of the video - The shots of you on stage freaking people out were GREAT. Stick with that! All the best, D.

Prism is a great book, it's got 5 of his slimmer books in there, I've not seen Nothing, but his Videomind series has a lot of cool stuff in there. Also, the up here is that each DVD focuses on a different scenario, similar to Banachek's Psi series, so you can select close-up or stage or parlor...
