They are just a deck of cards, it is all down to personal preference, if you think they make you more confident, or if you like the design, if you like the handling, how often you use them, how easy to access them, how common they are, the costs, the effect you are performing... It is all...

Do you need a suitcase or something so you can travel with all these cards? Or just something to protect it? Look in your big stores and stuff, they normally have the like. I doubt there are many suitcases which are made to store cards, I don't know any magician who walks around with a suitcase...

Card manipulation can work on stage, and maybe some flourishes, but if the stage is not too big it can work. I'd recommend you to buy Jeff McBride's - The Art of Card Manipulation There is a whole set of DVD's and they are absolutely brilliant.

Depends what you mean by stage. If you look here... You can see how big stages can get. If you were to perform card effects on that stage, it would be pretty dull for the audience, and flourishing would not work too, unless every person had a set binoculars under their seats. What are you...
