    What to get?

Depends what you want, if you want a culling technique that you can use, go with the Roadrunner... I don't own it so I can't comment on it. If you want some general sleights and magic to use, go with one of the others. At the end of the day, we can't decide what's best for you, it's what you...

    Sleight from movie shade

... That was awesome referencing. I concede, curse those deceitful magicians and their bonus material... bonus lies more like! Anyway, just so you don't get too downhearted, there is a sleight of hand method out there. As far as I know it's by Paul Wilson, I learned it at the...

    What to get?

There isn't a lot of palming in BFU at all, there is a little but it's all covered. Small hands = small confidence in ability to palm = bad palming & excuses :p I have small hands too, but (and touch wood) as of yet, I've not been called out on it. :) The Paper Engine has intermediate...

    Prediction Battle

Apologies, I can't do this challenge anymore. Too much on my proverbial plate at the moment. :( Perhaps another time... I look forward to anyone else who takes up this challenge though! :) - Sean

    Sleight from movie shade

Wow... magicians sure hate it when they get fooled. Them 'cheating' is no different than us telling spectators what we do is magic when in actual fact we use sleight-of-hand or take advantage of largely unknown principles... - Sean

    Sleight from movie shade

There is an un-gimmicked version of this by the way. ;) Paul Wilson's thinking again, but the gaffed version is much easier and far better if you ask me. Still, it's nice to have an un-gimmicked version. ALSO Fan-2-C has immediately inspectable cards at the end, something that Zapped! does...

    "Spreadable" Triumph?

Lee Asher's move is called Pulp Friction, the triumph-like effect you're talking about is called Moment of Zen and there's a real nice performance of it on youtube somewhere. ... Sadly however the effect is not taught in his Pulp Friction booklet. Great move, highly recommend it. - Sean

    theory11 on IRC?

Instant chat, don't have to wait for posting. Any topic, any time (provided there are people available). General good fun too. :D No exposure though - That's one thing we don't do there. - Sean

    Materialization

I thought it was a nice illusion. If it's what I think it is, it's most certainly not a camera trick. My only comment is that it took a little too long to set-up that darned cloth... It was windy though, I could see that so, I imagine that was why. - Sean

    Advice?

Who cares? Egotistical magicians who love to show how clever they are because they know what sleights are being used or can roughly follow when a card has been switched or not... Not the laymen, so don't put it, there's simply no need... No maliciousness intended at you Nate, by all means I...

    Revealing a Selected Card

From what I understand J.K. Hartman's pop-out move uses two hands. Aaron Fisher's uses only one hand. I'm sure there is someone else who could be more helpful on the matter and I certainly hope they post. I love the history behind the moves. - Sean

    Revealing a Selected Card

It's also taught in his book The Paper Engine, which is where I learned it. Very cool move. - Sean

    Revealing a Selected Card

From what I remember/know (As I don't own it) that's the original J.K. Hartman move, not Aaron Fisher's One-Handed Popover. Aaron Fisher's OHP is my favourite one to do as a quick thing to find someone's card behind my back one-handed. :) Simple mind-reading revelations but hamming it up the...
