I might meet you someday. I live in Elizabeth, NJ - not too far. But the last time I was in FAO was right before it closed down. So if a guy with a deck of cards approaches you (when you are not demoing of course) and says the "keyword" Theory 11, you know it's me.

I get that all the time. All I say "I study many books on the art of magic". Never been insulted or called out after that.

Looks like you are using the gimmick from Panic. Also, it is very easy to see that the card is only a few cards from the top when you place it in. But when you turn the deck face down the card seems on the bottom. A little fishy, no?

They never saw any action because of the white border. It's much easier to see mark/crimp on a card with a white border than one with the diamond backs that casinos use today.

I didn't see any flashes that a layman would see, maybe a magician but not a layman. I voted for Brett because it just looked better to me, not sure why.

praetoritevong is right, it wasn't the age of the people, it had to be your presentation. You have to realize that older people aren't interested it cool, visual, complex tricks. They ENJOY simple nice tricks. Personally, I love performing for older people - I get the best reactions from them.

I'm going to call the USPCC and let them know.
