Actually my foundation was built solely on DN tutorials, now I've moved on to the Trilogy, Motion and the CODE, and I consider myself a decent flourisher.

Bobo's is most certainly not outdated, it may be written in old fashioned style, but calling it outdated is quite ignorant.

I read a lot anyway but I manage to read magic books. You just need to persist. Or buy Ammars or Roths introduction, definately not Noblezada...

Reread Bobo's book, it's a chore but once you've got that down you will have all you need to move on to advanced stuff like TOOC and Coin1 and 2.
