    Dangerous - Mystique DVD Download

I broke a promise I made to myself. I once said “I will never spend a penny on D+M material” and I just did. Why? Well when reading the reviews on the Mystique DVD I felt that maybe there really was something there, that I would not let my personal opinions on the performer keep me away from...

    Smoke & Mirrors : A Cordial Invitation :: Friday, Aug. 1

major disappointment I was waiting and waiting for those smoke and mirrors decks to show their face and now that they did I just feel super disappointed. I am sure that these cards handle well and are high quality but I was expecting a lot from the design... Si Scott blah blah blah...the ace...

    Mini-Review - Greg Wilson's Double Take

Medifro: You are in a bad habit of pushing everything into a state of metaphysics.. Your discussion is pointless and you always leave the subject and drift away. Naturalness and deceptiveness do not have to go hand in hand with each other. DBD by Lee Asher is a deceptive double lift, I...

    Mini-Review - Greg Wilson's Double Take

You just can´t help yourself can you?:) "Natural action" would mean one that most efficiently brings about desired effect and one that would be spontaneously used by a majority of people. No, naturalness of action is not context sensitive. There is nothing natural with XCM. Giving a deck a...

    Que Raro by Dani DaOrtiz

Does anyone own a copy of Que Raro by Dani DaOrtiz? Is it worth getting? There is supposed to be a cascade control on the video. Is it a good one?

Best deck for a hot climate?

I´m so glad I live in Sweden:P no problem with humidity or heat, cards stay in great shape for a long time..

    Witchita Slip

I believe this move not to be deceptive enough to be done under scrutiny. Even when Sankey does it I feel as though something happened, that I can not be sure where the card really came from. I have actually been caught using this move and I kind of feel it was not my fault;P

    Mini-Review - Greg Wilson's Double Take

Ling Ling: Hit style double lift is hardely the most natural double lift and definately not the way a lay person would turn a card. Give the deck to somebody and you will see that in 99% av the cases they will push off the top card and turn it over. This would mean that push-off double lift...

    Flourishes Ruining Magic?

Andrei: the subject was not the cardistry as an art form. I agree with you on your point about pure manipulation and comparison to dance.... The question was weather or not flourishing, when combined with magic, ruins or enhances it...

    Kardwell

Just a question... Has anybody ordered cards from www.kardwell.com They seem to have good deals on cards. I e-mailed a question to them not so long ago but they did not answer. Just wondering if you have any experience from this company and if the service is fine....

    Big Deal by Joshua Jay

What do you mean by common? I think they have their own personalitys and don´t play a "role" of a magician. Both are likable and competent performers that stay true to themselves and that have not jumped on the whole streety, super cool and super visual kind of magic that is trandy right now.

    Flourishes Ruining Magic?

BrianationX- It is strange to me that you started a thread to discuss a subject of flourishing when you in fact don´t seem to care or value another peoples opinions. If you already know "the truth" and how things really are, why do you bother discussing the subject. You claim: flourishines...

The best "Triumph" in the world

I.T.H Triumph Check out Mike Powers book "High voltage magic" for a cool and different triumph. Very visual.... Cards are first brought to rder, then the orientation of cards is visually changed two times and finally the selection is revealed face up sandwiched between two jacks. This...

    HELP! I need somebody...

It achieves the same thing as the through the fist flourish. It secretly reverses a packet of cards in a action of twisting the packet. It is a good and useful move.

    Flourishes Ruining Magic?

There are two schools of magic and there is nothing wrong with that. I will give you a example why old school may be correct. Lets take a sandwich effect. A card is selected, returned, magician riffles the deck and the selection is trapped between two face up queens that have been on top of...

    Thank you Dan and Dave:)

Got my copy of Surfaced yesterday and I felt like a child again, just the way I did with the Trilogy DVD. In times when almost nothing excites me anymore I can only thank Dan and Dave for existing and truly evolving the art of magic. And of course thank you Chad Nelson for making me drop my...

    Needs to be removed...

I think that those really interested in magic will purchase this dvd anyways. It is like with movies and music. Those who have intentions to buy a product will do it no matter what. Still, I wonder how those who expose magic and other peoples stuff think. It is so immoral...
