Is Brad Christian a good performer/magician?

I'm going to "kinda" get off topic just a wee bit here. Read this wrestling fans. There's an effect around called the "E" effect. "E"llusionist and the WW"E" both carry this effect. They care more about selling, then the actual product quality. Surprising they both have E in their...

    Card Warp Solutions

Hey guys. There has been many threads about people's cards being warped and "clicks." I hope that this thread can help you guys solve these problems! I, for one, experience with these problems daily, so here we go. 1. Click Bending. This has happened to me many times over the months, but...

    When you approach a group...

When I approach people, I extend out my hand and shake their hand. But usually, they are like, "Huh? What? Who are you?" And I hate saying, "Oh I'm a magician, can I show you something?" But that's all that I can say, because that usually calms them down. Last time I asked some kids, "Hey...

Magic - Things That Need to Change

I see where you're getting to. And I agree. But getting sort of off topic here, I see some people that actually use patter...and their voices sound so NASAL CONGESTED. It's disgusting. Look up XCManipulator on YouTube. Nothing wrong with the magic...but the voice.....eck.

Anyone in the U.S. receive their TNR project?

I feel your pain man. I live in North Carolina. I swear....if it doesn't come by the end of this week, I'll go crazy. Literally. Oh well, at least my Wynns ship today. ;D

What flourishing DVD are you most looking forward to in 2008?

I will definitely buy anything by the Virts. They are pure awesomeness. Despite the fact my TnR Project hasn't arrived yet.... ;(

What flourishing DVD are you most looking forward to in 2008?

By motions, you mean how the body (or in this case, just hands) poses, or how it moves while doing flourishes? For example, single card flips, if you just flip them by itself, it looks blagh. But if you move your hands in such a way, it looks cooler. Am I right?

Anyone in the U.S. receive their TNR project?

Australia is fairly closer to Singapore than the U.S. Unless you ordered yours AFTER December 9th, you should've received it already, like Twozwozer.

    Hoyle Maverick Playing Cards

I just went to a Family Dollar, and found some for $1.00 each. I bought half a brick. For a buck, they are really nice.

    Aviator Playing Cards

You can get them at www.filmart.com for $0.99 a deck. For that price, it is well worth it. It doesn't have the linen coating like the Bikes, but it is smooth. There's nothing wrong with them, their pretty durable and fans rather well. The sides are a bit rugged, but that could be just my...

    Sweaty Palms

Hey spikormikor13. You and I have the exact same problem...only mine doesn't run in the family. (Maybe my parents are carriers, but they don't have it themselves?) Anyway, the best thing for you to do is to wash your hands with cold water with some exfoliating hand soap (the kind with the...

    Hoyle Maverick Playing Cards

I used to own a deck of these.....when I was around 7... I still love their back designs. I forgot how they felt though. Any reviews? I got them at a local store for $1.00. But now, on the net its about $25.00 for a brick.

What makes a beginner... what makes a pro?

Wow. What a way to get off topic eh? Anyways, I will continue to categorize myself as a beginner until I learn more stuff. It's always best to under estimate yourself than to over estimate yourself. It keeps you from getting too cocky/confident.

    Show Off with Cards (DVD)

I read some reviews on other websites that said the teaching on this DVD was terrible. But I guess it's all about personal preference. Maybe more experienced flourishers will get it easier than ones that are just beginning I suppose?

Saturday Night Contest - Performance Stories : Holiday Edition

It was around 5 days before Christmas. The mall was PACKED with people, and I just oh so happened to have a deck of cards with me. I went up to a guy (who seemed to be in his early 20's) and I greeted him, and I asked if I could show him something. I preceded to try the 2 Card Monte, but sadly...

What makes a beginner... what makes a pro?

Yikes. I don't even know how to categorize myself anymore.

    Good cards for flourishing?

Well, De'vo did say that the Tally-Ho Viper decks were the best to use for XCM. But then again, it's all about personal preference.
