I think that the concept of the fire is great. Fire is a distractor and an effect that can be put in any magicians arsenal. (I just read that and I feel I sound a bit fancy :) )

The cards were... unique, the first cards I got where ANA airport cards on the airport. They couldn't fan but they could ribbon spread pretty good and they weren't poker sized.

just in case they can't see some of your tricks. Get a camcorder and hook it up to a projector onto a white screen if this is in an audotorium. Usually audotoriums have white screens.
