Since you are green,magiclemonbird,you shouldnt even be considering battles yet until you've perfected your moves.
Well, I guess it's too late to cancel the battle, I'm getting better at portal so I might submit that and before submitting it I'm going to ask sinful to check it.
I agree that you shouldn't really be entering in any battles right now, given the obvious. But if anyone's looking for a real challenge, Steerpike is always one way to go.

Although, and i'm sure anyone would back me on this, you should be fairly seasoned to take on one of these. None of these challenges are simple. They require you to really use your mind, instead of just your hands. They're something that everyone on here that considers themselves "Serious", should be able to do, and should do, imo.

I've always found the battle system to be tacky, but as long as it's here we should try and put it to some use. Rather than doing battles to show your ability to perform one card sleight, make a video I'd actually want to see.

well the mythology one is about to open for voting. Also I like the idea of urban legends, it is a really cool idea.

I'm also into cardistry. I've gained an intrest into cardistry and enjoy the type of cardistry that Andrei does. I would say that I am "sleightly" better at cardistry than magic. "sleightly" get it!!!!

Everyone insists on posting their card manipulation videos to music, so here I'm asking people to use good music like Streetlight Manifesto and The Smiths.
Hell, now that I think of it, somebody should do a coin/paper bill/cigarette manipulation routine to Money by Pink Floyd.
I think a cigarette routine set to money would be amzing to watch. Just thinking about that gives me some great ideas.
You don't even have to smoke the bloody thing. Novelty cigarettes have foil tips that shine like actual glowing cig cherries and have powder loaded into them so that you can puff out on them (don't breathe in for god's sake!) and create the illusion of smoke.
