No, it wont be rejected because of the plot of the effect. If you look at Biteme by Dalton Wayne and Regeneration by Blake Vogt they are virtually the same effect but they have very different methods. The method needs to be unique. Other things that could get it rejected is if it was not filmed...

It shouldn't be too tough for a lefty seeing as ALL the work is performed with the left hand haha. It is a really tough trick to master though, but what a great structure for an effect. The plot rocks and Chris is super fun to watch.
