Haha, you sliced the card... I know how that is. Anyways, great job with the trick, but I do tend to agree with handing the spectator the deck with the same hand as the palm. It gives you a reason to have your hand positioned the way it is.

Haha, after reading everyone else's suggestions, if I were you, I would just bite the bullet and buy some blank cards.

The Classic Force is the way to go for a seemingly "free choice." I've read up on it in multiple sources, and I do believe it is in Royal Road to Card Magic. I personally like the simplicity of a False Hindu Shuffle in collaboration with a Hindu Force.

Hey, if anyone could help me find a list of magicians from the 1800's, that would be great. I have to write a research paper for my history class and I thought it would be a lot of fun to cover one of the earliest magicians.

That's a great effect, but it can be hit or miss sometimes. It happens to the best of us.

I think I actually starting juggling before magic... But I don't really remember, it's been a while. Anyways, I can only juggle three balls. I really haven't tried to expand outside of that, for whatever reason.

I personally like to use Bicycles. They're easy to come by and they're not expensive.

So yeah, basically what everyone else has said. You both really need to practice it more. I can't bring myself to vote for either.
