Freedom Pack by Justin Miller Review

My only gripe with it is that I couldn't get the original change to work right during practice every time. But that's pretty much my own fault for being clumsy when it comes to doing things that require you to toss and catch cards or items in the air. You don't HAVE to do the ACR like he did a...

Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan and Dylan. Why? Because he spits hot fire.

    Flaming Business cards

I wouldn't suggest doing it, you can do plenty of none fire related effects that hand out your business card.

    Best Wedding Effect Ever

Too much work and you're neglecting the fact that there is booze at weddings, lots of it. When people drink, their attention span becomes like a fruit fly. You HAVE to make what you do extremely easy to understand and extremely easy for them to do. Which is why Doc Easons effect is perfect for...

    Best Wedding Effect Ever

Yeah that kind of effect doesn't suit something like a wedding, and is more suited for something like hanging out with friends or whatever. Doc Easons effect is pretty much perfect for a wedding.

    Best Wedding Effect Ever

Again if you are smart enough, you can come up with a good wedding themes presentation pretty quickly. All it takes is some though and effort. You clients aren't going to care if you do a ACR or whatever, they pay more attention to the bigger picture, than to the method or how "new" the effect...

    Best Wedding Effect Ever

there isn't a best wedding effect ever. Anything can be the best effect ever, it all really boils down to how smart and entertaining the performer is. But the one that most people tend to stick with when doing weddings or something for the couple is the old classic Anniversary Waltz

15 and Wanting to Begin Restaurant Magic

Go on Amazon.com and look up books on Marketing and Public Speaking. Because if you want to get a gig at a restaurant you have to know how to market yourself properly and also market the place you are trying to work at.

15 and Wanting to Begin Restaurant Magic

OK first off, it's going to be hard for any GM or owner of a place to take you seriously, due to your age. They don't care how good you are, they care more about making money and if you will get in the way of their staff. Which is the other problem. You have way too many things you trying to...

The right direction to learn this card trick?

You could do this with EQ. I know there is a card in wallet effect that does exactly that for live audiences. As for the one with Chat Roulette. Just keep doing it till you get a winner, then only show the winner. You now have a miracle on your hands. Or use an ID or a B wave deck. problem...

    Sponge Ball Magic

I've heard great things about a DVD called Protons that takes a different look at Sponge Ball magic.

    Topit

Pretty much what he said. The Ammar Topit DVD and design is usually the best. But being that you are starting out and you MAY find that do not like using a topit. So spending the money to have it installed and made would be a huge waste of time and money. With the David penn one, if you find you...

    Topit

I would suggest David Penns at first. Because you don't need to have it installed by a seamstress (which can be very costly to have done.), also sense you are new to topits. You most likely have no idea how to describe where and how to install it. It would be like the blind leading the blind...

    Freak magic at kids shows?

I wouldn't suggest it, Kids specially at that age are highly suggestible and even if you do say "Don't try this at home." There is a very high chance they will go and do it anyways. Also I doubt the parents at the party would like seeing somebody do that stuff in front of their kids.

    Good Card Trick DVD's

There is no such thing as the BEST Card trick DVD. It's all up to personal taste and something you will have to discover yourself. There are however very good ones out there that are very practical and things that most would recommend because the DVD has a ton of things on it that you can see...

    How NOT To Get Tips

Acting like a beggar during your performances makes you look petty and unprofessional. The best way to get tips is to not focus on trying to get them, focus more on entertaining the people and you may just get the tip you want. If you want to learn how to busk and get the most out of it, I...

This makes me want to quit.

Depends on who's reviewing the DVD. If it's being reviewed by a move monkey who doesn't do professional magic, then I can see that happen. But when it's being reviewed by people who do magic professionally, then they would pretty much say it's not that good of a product.
