    Daniel Madison's TK effects

He just recently "announced" the release of the Psycho project (put a link with a logo for it). I doubt this holds TK, and I wasn't into magic when Daniel Madison was the only thing people talked about (change, TK, Lithium, etc) but apparently this was a project that he announced a while ago but...

    Jerry's Nuggets from Lee Asher

Keep an eye on my signature in the near future, I'll be putting it on ebay. That sucks man. Daylight Savings Time almost f***ed me on that one.

What inspired you to get in to flourishing.

Saw Smokin' Aces last summer, so, indirectly, Dan and Dave. The scene where he does sybil and the carnahan fan was crazy.

    Jerry's Nuggets from Lee Asher

I was able to grab one of the decks for $75 in the first rung today. Honestly, I'm planning to sell after they arrive.

What character do you create for yourself?

Personally, I think the misunderstood question was slightly deeper, but all the same: I'm an exclusive card guy. I perform a few effects that have a mentalism touch to it but they all revolve around cards. Maybe as I get more experienced and knowledgeable I'll get into other areas, but for now...

    Regarding of Stack Deck

I highly recommend the Player's Stack by Lewis LeVal. The the key to remembering it is just a 13 word poem and the stack itself is very viable. I love it.

Saturday Night Contest - Maximum Exposure

Video was mad funny. Congratulations ChrisT. The method actually made sense in a ridiculous sort of way.

    How often do you perform?

Being a junior in high school, I rarely have enough time to go out and soley perform like I want to. And since no kind of gambling devices like cards are allowed at my school, performing at school is difficult to. But I always have cards with me, and take every opportunity to do something...

    Daniel Madison's Advocate

If you have the money, you should most definitely buy Inside. Along with the Advocate (which, as one who performs almost exclusively with cards, is my favorite utility), it has mass of great ideas, effects, and concepts that will keep you busy for a long time. It contains mostly all of Daniel's...

    Spread Pass - Feedback needed

I thought it was great. I don't have it down yet, so it looks good to me anyway. From the eyes of a spectator, I wouldn't have suspected anything. As always in magic, there is room for improvement, so the advice given here is of course good advice, but looks good all the same. Hate Owl City...

    Flourishing from 0.

I have been flourishing for about 8 months now (reason I got into cards, eventually moved on to magic) and I got XB1 (before Genesis, which I definitely would have chosen). It's all right, if you listen to it on mute, but the only thing I really took from it was the Charlier and the Scissor cut...

    Innovation in Magic

Yeah, I saw in the "What is Magic" special (caught the bullet in his mouth), one effect where he went up to these kids and had them name their favorite insect or small animal or something, and they all said "butterflies". Then I think he had them call butterflies or something cute like that, and...

    Everyone Wants Us to Fail.

that's both the challenge and the thrill of what we do. of course people want us to fail, our entire goal is to prove them wrong. whatever they believed is or isn't possible, *snap* we just did it. now, of course this isn't our goal, in its most blatant form, but we are "offending the senses"...

t11.bulletin : DVR by Tony Chang - Now Available

Trick is awesome IMO, the flash doesn't really matter. Just proves it's a bit angle sensitive, as with many good tricks. Just something to be cautious of. Won't deter me from it. Props to Mr. Chang.

    YOUR Interview with David Blaine :: You Ask. He answers. {magic-con}

To be considered by DB and the crew, yes. So glad to have had the opportunity to do this, I can't stop thinking about it [/davidblainegeekfan]

    Innovation in Magic

Yeah, Steerpike, you'd be spot on about that (what stage I'm at, not the presumptuous-ness (?) ) Maybe innovation could be the wrong word, if i think of a better one while remaining relevant I'll post. going by what you said, innovation is indeed very hard to come by. I've pondered creating my...

    Gimmicks are WRONG?

I have no problem with gimmicks as magic is about the spectator, who will never be the wiser. I used to be a "purist" for a bit, when I first started out, but I realized I was missing out on a lot of good tricks and opportunities after I read the following (paraphrased) quote somewhere...
