    Russian Roulette with Acid

I have a question. Is it actually possible for somebody to purchase Sulfuric Acid? I would think that this kind of stuff is a bit too dangerous for just about anybody on this board to purchase.

Good News - I am so happy...

Hopefully you have more than close up stuff. Because I hear the judges HATE card magic or coin magic or anything close up related.

Worlds Greatest Magic - Coin In Bottle - Michael Ammar's Corked Coin In Bottle

You're talking about a splash bottle right. I'm pretty sure that's what he probably did. You can get the prop for that at any magic shop.

    1-on-1 Coin Sizes

Kenners stuff used Morgan Dollars I think and Flicker used half dollars. Trifecta also used Morgan Dollars. Tho you can do most of the routines with halves.

YouTube is the greatest thing to happen to magic... - Two Essays

Here's the problem, Youtube is stopping kids from actually performing for REAL people. Magic wasn't meant to be performed in front of an unblinking camera.

What did you win? Because I don't really see people voting for somebody on youtube as a "win".

I had to get a good laugh at this. "You accused me of camera tricks, because you couldn't figure out how I did that." It's not that he couldn't figure out how you did it. It's that the damn blur effect or whatever made it look really really awful. Seriously.. It was like somebody trying to...

Ever spent months on something the audience never sees?

It's to make sure they are doing it right. I know that Jeff McBride said that if he has to do a lot of false cuts and shuffles, he tends to look at his hands as well. This also has to do with people doing magic that relies on way too many sleights. I mean seriously, I think the best stuff...

Daniel Garcia's Sam the Bellhop (NSFW)

I think it would be pretty easy for anybody to do a story like that. He did say that the rest of it was pretty much improve and the only sure fire thing was the Jack and 645 part.

    Silver Dollars or Half Dollars?

The other thing is that Silver Dollars are generally more visual and easier to see than halves. I have pretty decently sized hands but couldn't get them to palm the coins properly (besides maybe a finger palm..Which is the easiest to master.). But once I tried to pick up another object or a...

Why do you want to see magic?

Well they shouldn't care if what you are doing has no context or meaning behind it. But if you can make it connect with them emotionally and Intellectually then they'll end up caring. Most people when they start out, do magic, just to do it. Which is fine.
