How is figuring something out. Bette than learning it properly and from the people who have had experience with it? Wouldn't you rather save the heart ache and have them tell you which angle works and which doesn't and how to properly perform it?

Yeah I've heard a few people who worked with him in his later years say that he was pretty much an asshat. I know that Jay sankey used to create a few effects for him and left because of how much an ass Criss was being. I heard Banachek left for that reason as well.

Not really. You may THINK there is more to it. But really the only reason most people care about magic or enjoy seeing it, is because it is something unusual and different. Different usually stands out more than anything. This is also why magic tends to be remembered more than a movie or a concert.
