    Risk and Reward

How is figuring something out. Bette than learning it properly and from the people who have had experience with it? Wouldn't you rather save the heart ache and have them tell you which angle works and which doesn't and how to properly perform it?

    Blaine VS. Angel

Yeah I've heard a few people who worked with him in his later years say that he was pretty much an asshat. I know that Jay sankey used to create a few effects for him and left because of how much an ass Criss was being. I heard Banachek left for that reason as well.

Why do you want to see magic?

    Top 5 Impromptu Card Tricks?

Yeah I think it's David Stones handling of the routine. It's either in the first Real Secrets of magic or the 2nd DVD. Tho it never really says you HAVE to use the kings and aces. You could essentially turn the jacks or whatever's into anything you want. He just did it with the jacks to aces.

Preservation - Signed Card in Sealed Deck

I think I recall somebody telling me that Darwin Ortiz also has a version of the signed card in a sealed box as well. Tho the method and presentation may be completely different. I think it was either in Card Shark or his other book, I can't really remember which.

    Risk and Reward

Let me ask you this. Would you rather learn how to play piano by sitting there and fiddling with the keys. Or would rather learn how to properly read music and play it. Sure you can teach yourself to play piano. But it would be a lot more beneficial to actually have somebody who knows what...

Why do you want to see magic?

Well that's the thing. It's not something you can easily answer in text. I could say an experience of a life time. But then that sounds like the ad copy of a Summer movie. Plus many other people could say that. I could say a memory, and many others could say that too. This really isn't something...

Why do you want to see magic?

This is getting off topic. Visualartist asked why WE watch magic. I watch magic because I like to be fooled and entertained. As for Steerpikes question. This isn't something that can be answered on a message board. It is better done than said.

What's in it for them? an unforgettable memory that will last them a life time. Something they will always be able to recall no matter how old they get. Which is true. I am sure you can remember the first time you saw David Copperfield on TV or David Blaine or Criss Angel or anybody else...

Why do you want to see magic?

Not really. You may THINK there is more to it. But really the only reason most people care about magic or enjoy seeing it, is because it is something unusual and different. Different usually stands out more than anything. This is also why magic tends to be remembered more than a movie or a concert.

Why do you want to see magic?

Well if he didn't care about your magic, he wouldn't have mentioned it or asked to see it. Simple enough. Why do you people care about magic? Because it is something unusual and is something that MOST have not seen live or in person.
