Doug Hennings and Criss Angel's Vanishing Legs

Not bad but not great. I could barely tell what was going on due to the bad lighting and you took too much time moving things around and whatever. Which was something you could have easily done BEFORE you turned on the camera.

    Risk and Reward

Think about this way, you pirate the DVD you actually learn how to properly perform the effect and learn all the nuances that go along with it. When you "think" you've figured it out.. You pretty much don't learn anything and are most likely wrong. Tho I personally like knowing that I...

    Top 5 Impromptu Card Tricks?

Well true, I think that Wayne's just has a few different sleights and most people use the aces because they were pretty much apart of the original Larry Jennings version.

    Factory Sealed or Gecko

I think I recall Nick V saying that he did that for Mark Disoza.

Magicians - How much do you charge?

Isn't there some old story about a guy who told Coca-Cola or some other high end client that he charged like 150k and they decided NOT to go with him because they thought that was too low. (Usually the name of the company and the price tend to change each time a person tells the story.) But...

    Essay: Improving Your Act

I think the main thing here is that less is more. It's always good to have effects that use very little moves and that are organic. You also forgot to mention that you should learn to be more engaging and interactive with your audience. As Gregory Wilson would say "Go off on a branch."

    Factory Sealed or Gecko

The idea of it is great, but from what I have seen it just looks great on video. I mean what do you when they want their cell phone back? Do you pretty much expose the effect right there?

    Factory Sealed or Gecko

Well Factory Sealed is a bit more magical in the essence that it uses two things that are extremely easy to get a hold of and that most people you run into will have.

Magicians - How much do you charge?

How does he sleep at night? Probably very comfortably in knowing that he can pay his bills and also have extra dough left over for whatever else he wants. well that's the thing to think about. If somebody has the money to spend, they WILL spend it. I think this is I would call his Hamburger...

    Torrents vs Selling

Well yeah, that is the problem as well. Too much crap out there and we rarely get to find the diamonds. The funny thing about pirating is that the Game companies have been trying to stop it for years, yet once they put a DRM on their computers game, they are pretty much treating the people...

    Torrents vs Selling

Honestly I am sure people trade effects in the the inner circle's. I know I've heard that a few clubs did that back in the back before we had the internet.

Kind of failed that part there, Chief. With that post.

    The Invisible Aces

Ok again, The sound is god awful. Seriously, it sounds like a broken AM/FM radio and then there is this screech noise going on with it. If you say that you didn't put that "intro" in the video. Then why did you start recording before everything was hooked up? I tried to watch it again...

    Invisible Deck Ideas

Nice idea, but I prefer to treat the ID has a regular deck and just make it like you predicted what card the person would think of and turned it over the day before.

    The Invisible Aces

Here's the thing, the Mic just ruined it. Hell if you have mic problems, why not just go the safe route and use subtitles? I know youtube has them now and they are easy as pie to use. You handling was just awkward and rushed. The fact that you are a "stage magician" has nothing to with it...

    Digital Dissolve

His shells are the expensive ones, I looked and his C/S was like 60 to 70 bucks. Don't know how much Lassen charges but I am assuming maybe in that same price range.

    Digital Dissolve

Yeah I know what you mean, but I am saying that they should get what they can afford for right now. I don't know many people on this board who could afford a Lassen or Schoolcraft product when they just show magic to their friends and family. Now when they start making money doing it...
