What is the name of that trick ?

I hope you can forgive me! :( I had to watch both of them so I understand the pain.

What is the name of that trick ?

I can't give you extended information on a trick I don't know the name of, unfortunately. I have a good feeling about what method he's using, but I can't be certain. Perhaps @RealityOne will know?
  3. DominusDolorum

What is the name of that trick ?

I thought he was asking about the trick where he has someone look at a card in the deck, he places one face down in their hand and it changes. I remember seeing something close to that on a Bill Malone tape.

Be honest what is it / two card monte - presentational ideas

True, but I actually like these idea's our guy through out here. He let's the audience be correct in their guesses, or at the very least given them the impression that they're right, before hitting them with the twist. It's far superior them going "wrong! They're now aces!", or what have you...

    I'm interested in magic books

Royal Road is my go to recommendation. Card college has better instruction, from what I've been told, but they get pricy if you want to whole set. RRTCM will cover all the basics you need, and won't cost much.

What tricks make your audience say "do that again!"?

Crazy Mans Handcuffs. Luckily, that trick gets better when repeated a few times.

    Who would you meet?

Michael Ammar. His DVDs were my first real steps into learning magic and he seems like a genuinely nice person.

I'm looking for some magic tricks. Do anyone have any suggestions?

Perhaps try giving Magic Stream a whirl. They're doing a month trial for $1 so I decided to check it out. You'll have access to a ton of material so you can experiment with a bit of everything. Personally, I don't think it's for me but I did enjoy the Richard Turner interview. Nothing beats a...

Book Recommendations for Theory (not tricks and sleights)

Scripting Magic Volume 1 and 2, by Pete McCabe, are both excellent. Together they are pricey, so I would recommend just picking up the first one if you can. They have essays, scripts, interviews, and tricks contributed by the worlds greatest magicians. What I really love about this books is that...
