I don't remember the name of the force but Harry Lorayne teaches a similar force, that's done with a pencil, in Close Up Card Magic. I'll look it up when I get home, unless someone else beats me to it.

I've used a software from NCH called VideoPad. It's not the greatest but it's free, and it's a lot easier to edit video clips and audio than Windows movie maker.

I personally like tricks that are Smith Myth-esque. Some are better than others but I've never seen that kind of ending before. I like it. I can't tell you if its original or not but it's a cool concept to me. Hope it works out for you!
