So it's okay to insult your audience and flip them off for no reason? He's old enough to know better.

    Deck Compression Review

It was originally going to be out around or after the David Blaine special, but I guess that got delayed or put on Hiatus. You'll have to ask the creators when it's coming out. They'd most likely be able to answer the question.

    Bad Performance

I like how he tried to act like somebody with talent and instead of coming off funny, he came off insulting and stupid. He pretty much flashed that one trick with the card. Then he pretty much screwed everything else up. It would have been one thing if he did some sponge or card or coin magic...

    That's what he said...

Well the point is that people use a lot of Vernon or so and so's theory's so much is because they WORK. If ain't broke, don't try to fix it.

    Bad Performance

Wait how old is he? like 12 -14? If I did that when I was that age, I would have been grounded for life and most likely thrown out of the house. The reason Jonathans insults and jokes work is pretty much because you kind of expect him to do em and well he's made a career out of them. Some...

    YouTube Magic

I was a bit surprised to see Jami Ian Swiss put that on youtube, tho I don't think he recorded that for anything other than a Discovery Channel thing.. So it can be forgiven. It's not ruined by the injog, it's ruined by the camera. But it wasn't meant for lay people to see online. It was...

    That's what he said...

I don't think we should want to be like the giants in magic. We should want to be something else entirely. And the reason people quote Vernon so much is because he was pretty much a well spring of knowledge when it came to magic.

I don't think he did that performance at the magic castle. Simply because he and the girl were dressed a bit more casual than the magic Castle would allow. I'm pretty sure it was done at a random bar or restaurant.

Well it's either that. I mean PH's latest actual thing he released was Art of Astonishment which came out in the early to mid 90's. I don't think he really NEEDED the money. The man does do work for people like David Blaine and Criss Angel.. So he probably gets a pretty good amount of cash from...

Well the thing is that a lot of that stuff IS good. Otherwise Paul wouldn't have spent 5 years on the project and released it. I just think that some of the effects are mainly things that you would do for friends or for other non walk around gigs, due to the fact they take set up here and there...

    YouTube Magic

Actually they are cracking down on a lot of other things as well. As long as the video has copy righted music on it. They'll pretty much either mute it or take it down completely.

    Boycotting 2009 F.I.S.M

Yeah it's too bad he can't really sue them for doing that. It's really sleazy to reject somebody and then teach their material without their permission to somebody else.

    YouTube Magic

youtube magic isn't entertaining and Jami Ian Swiss did talk about how Magic was meant to turn a shy kid into somebody with confidence. How is one going to have confidence if they just sit or stand there in front of a webcam? The other thing is that a camera isn't going to react or tell you if...

Yeah that's true. I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I've just about finished with Disc 2. I have skimmed through most of the stuff on the set. I did like Dunns Deal and a few other effects. Las Vegas Leaper 2 looked good as well. Tho It seems like more of something you would do for...

    True Review

My problem with Backlash 2 is that it turns into your name, and thus even if they are amazed that their name changed. They can usually work out how it turned into your name. Not that it's a bad effect. Twilight Angels is actually something that is really powerful because if you do the move...

    Re-doing a trick...

It's not hard to say no. In fact No is a very powerful word. If you say yes to everything you're pretty much setting yourself up to be their puppet. When you say "No" or "Maybe later" most people will either go "OK." or will understand.

    Footage / Bloopers

Unless you're Jackie Chan.. I really don't see any reason for me to watch some kid on the internet show "bloopers".

Search and Destroy Ft. Nowhere Pass

The DVD goes over things that Aaron learned and adapted to the trick over the years. He's most likely added a lot different touches to it and also you get learn an old Larry Jennings effect as well.

    Why coin gimmicks?

There is nothing wrong with coin gimmick as long as they are used with sleight of hand skill. A lot of the time they don't do the work for you, they just make what you do look more impossible and move less. Take a look at A lot of Troy Hoosers magic, he uses shells and other gimmicks. Yet nobody...
