    Lennart Green downloads

For the first location, honestly, too much technicality for something so simple. Simplyfing the moves but still keeping the original premise will have the same effect. Location 3 on the other hand was actually magical. Also the camera man flashes the secret moves too much. But at least its not...

How do you get disappointed with the method?

Dont forget to mention theory11 itself. Good people here, but the advice of going to books FIRST and brick and mortar shops is buried..somewhere on the site. T11 should glamorize being a beginner a bit more and all the stuff that comes with it. Kids love glamour.Just look at them drooling over...

Thoughts on Little Man by Paul Harris?

Its one of those one in a million chances. But I also suspected i might get caught by a kid since kids play with that stuff. So its always adults or teen audiences jjuuuuuust in case. haha

How do you get disappointed with the method?

Oh of course. I totally agree with you on those crazy impractical ones. But the thread starter is talking about the effects that arent terrible in practical terms yet some people still complain on the "work". The ones that almost want everything done for them

How do you get disappointed with the method?

Its one of those tricks that you actually plan on performing. I do it at gigs or planned situations only with great success.

    Deltron

People should be looking at the deck from a near birds eye view like this anyway so that sort of angle issue is not a problem at all. Good job. Alot better than the venus trap. Just a note.Dont try to always have a hundred percent angle free move to sell. Give the magicians some work to do.

    Put the cards down...

You didnt read my posts here well. I never said one should stop using cards completely. Its stated quite clearly in my OP and some posts afterwards. If your already naturally inclined to other forms of magic then these messages of "put the cards down" are clearly not for you.

How do you get disappointed with the method?

Ive had many hard handlers admit to me,even personally, that they only do card effects or impromptu card effects because of those very reasons. Im with the young community far outside this place. Clubs and such. Is laziness the only reason? no. Sometimes its also because they are scared to get...

How do you get disappointed with the method?

Ive asked myself the same thing. Most times, ive noticed, people say they are dissapointed with the method is because they are lazy. It requires actual work!(omg!). And magicians these days are lazy. Why do you think everyone always asks for impromptu or gimmickless material(or solely card...

    Put the cards down...

Totally agree with you there. But my OP was strictly aimed at the new(5 or 6 years new) street magic cool kids. The ones who are lanky and dress as if they just woke up. After a year or maybe two(and 2 is stretching it) they are still performing the exact same way with absolute little...

    Defensive Laymen

If any laymen ever throws out a theory at me I say "that would be one way to do it,yes..." They always leave puzzling. Its short, sweet, non threatening and mysterious.

Card trick you would do for a magician...?

if they ask then its for two reasons 1. Technicaliy 2.presentation/performance. If its the first reason, then something dan and dave-esque that ive mastered in all technical aspects. If its performance..well thats my own personal effect.

    Put the cards down...

Yeah,I know. But the new guys arent that much better. And alot of times its still basically pick a card they just dont say it. Its alot of staring down at the cards and very little attention to performance or connectivity with an audience.

    This is Awesome

But seriously,he has a great oppurtunity to watch a real proffesional at work. He can watch all the nuances of his performance and learn from it. See how he deals with possible hecklers, how he handles the crowd, etc.

    Put the cards down...

If you ask them, they dont want to see card tricks. But we dont give them options either. As spectators they will rather like to watch things float, things going through other things, etc. People cry out for substance, but they usually dont get it. They'res been a topic raised before where a...
