Can anyone give me any hints as to how the ACAAN was done in this video?

His book Mnemonica has some. Chapter 6 section 2, but it does not contain the version used in the video.

Can anyone give me any hints as to how the ACAAN was done in this video?

This is essentially the excellent Asi Wind version. I haven't read my John Born (mentioned above) too carefully or recently, but it may be similar. Tamariz and many others will teach you how to do more or less the same effect but with a different and in my opinion inferior (some would say...

    Stacks

My favorite book for stack effects is In Order to Amaze by Pit Hartling, conveniently reprinted recently. It contains the only thing ever to convince me I should learn to bottom deal along with plenty of other good stuff.

Where to buy good manipulation cards

Tough question. I haven't found any in poker size that I've been happy with, I just use Bees. If you find something, let us know! I posted this same question a couple of years ago and did not find anyone with a recommendation for manipulation cards.

    More than Magic

As a magician you are a performer. Some magicians have studied theater as an entirely appropriate way to advance themselves in their craft. You can make a performance stronger by improving parts that are not magic but enhance the atmosphere and guide the spectator to the proper frame of mind...

What are some good verbal forces other than just elimination?

Psyche comes with the PDF so you can get the video for an extra $10 if you want: https://www.penguinmagic.com/p/7822 The Derren Brown material can be found on The Devil's Picturebook along with some of his other thoughts on the subject. Docc Hilford LIVE covers another specific card.

    Stacks

I would say don't worry too much about it. Pick whichever one looks like it will suit your specific needs best and know that it will do almost anything else you want as well. I use Mnemonica just because I think it looks well mixed and how relates to new deck order, though I memorized it with...

    Flap cards

Shin Lim discusses some of this on his At the Table Live lecture. He discusses lots of things so there is only a bit on this, but it's a good lecture overall.

What's your favorite thing you have ever "created"?

How to defaro a deck. If I know what ins and outs have been done to a deck I know how to get it back to the original order in a handful more shuffles than it took to shuffle it. Oddly, this doesn't appear to have much practical use.

Good close up pads with reasonable prices

It depends on what you are trying to do. I like the plush mats better because I can more easily get my thumbs under the deck to lift the cards when shuffling. I spend a lot of time practicing tabled faros. I'm actually using a large hard backed suede mat on my lap, or with a pillow, and I put...

Good close up pads with reasonable prices

I prefer plush mats over suede mats for cards, but that's just me: https://www.pattricksmagic.com/magical-mats Comes in hard back. There are different material choices but I much prefer his plush to his original fabric.

Coin gimmicks make me so frustrated.

Got my Lassen coin today. Sure is nice, but silver coins are indeed disturbingly pricey. I still think card magic is more expensive in the long run. Years and years of buying cards, I can go through 2 decks a week at up to $10 a deck. Also books. So many card magic books. You can pretty...

    Up the ladder shuffle tips

I for one would like to see it at full speed. It looked great at the speed shown above. I have only tried to pick it up a few times, but I had a completely incorrect conception of what is was supposed to be like.
