    True Astonishments - Shipped

I really hope we don't any reviews till after people have actually learned and performed this stuff. "Oh man, I just got True Astonishments yesterday and man, this box is awesome. I love how it's made of wood and how the DVD's play when I put them in the DVD player. This is truly Awesome!"

    New Practice Regimen

Vernon has gone to say that magic SHOULD be fun to practice and do. The more fun you're having learning or doing something. The easier something will be to learn and the better the performer you will become. Magic shouldn't be a chore, I also believe that by doing it 4 hours a day you will...

    New Practice Regimen

I suggest you also take a few days off from practicing and letting the stuff you've been doing sink into your head. Then come back to it and rinse and repeat.

    Private Gigs - How Much?

If they sneer at your price, then ask them WHY and then say something like "How about if I lower it to like (insert whatever price here.)." if they still don't budge, then say sorry and send them to somebody else. You really gotta know what you're worth and that will only come with...

    New Practice Regimen

I tend to practice an hour day and usually shift between what I practice. One days I practice things like deck stacking and Second deals, then the next it's passes and half passes. So on and so fourth.

    Private Gigs - How Much?

Yeah that'll make you money. "How much are you willing to spend?" "5 bucks." "SOLD!" They don't know how much most entertainers charge and most likely never will. You need to set a price and if they can't afford that, then maybe lower it by like 10 or so bucks depending on what your price is.

    Private Gigs - How Much?

I'd around for private gigs it really depends on you. Most guys usually charge around 75-400 an hour depending on the gig and what type of event it is.

    Tax Return Time

I don't have any new books to get till Say November then after that it's Totally out of Control. Right now I am working on Bobo, Strong Magic and finishing up Card College and then will most likely spend a month or so going over the books again just to refresh my memory.

    BoBo's Modern Coin Magic

I suggest you read the book and learn 90% of the sleights in it, then practice them while watching TV. Because just about every Coin magic DVD or book uses all of the sleights in the book. Most are variations on the classic sleights. But once you've semi mastered the stuff in the book. Learning...

    "Street" Magic

Actually most pro's don't perform street magic. Maybe when they are filming a DVD but really you're more likely to take a guy seriously when has somebody there with an expensive camera and is actually mature and good at what he does. I know that Wayne Houchin says that when he is drumming up...

Card Manipulation 101 v3 by Dan Sperry :: RELEASED

Most likely due to the drugs he was on at the time and all the booze. Tho now days he seems to have cleaned himself up and is actually a really good actor. I wouldn't say that Dane Cook steals stuff. He just tries to take what USED to make him funny and then amps it up to 100% which is to say...

    Silver Morgan Dollar Shells

If you really want some Morgan Dollars. I just checked on ebay and a few sellers have them in bulk. Now they're not exactly brand new or anything and most are mixed lots. But I saw one that had a crap ton of them for like 20 bucks buy it now. Tho I wouldn't suggest learning with Silver Dollars...

Where do you get these cups?

As the old saying goes. Work with what you got. If you are just practicing and learning at home. Then it's perfectly normal and fine to buy the cheap stuff at the party or whatever stores. Heck, you could probably do the same when you perform for people.

    Cups and Balls

I think Vernons Cups and balls stuff is in his Inner Secrets of Magic book.

    Autograph = Justin Miller

He's bluffing it's really a known secret in magic.... peanut butter and jam. That way if the trick doesn't go as planned. He still has a high fiber diet of paper and PB&J.

    Silver Morgan Dollar Shells

I wouldn't trust anything from penguin. Due to how they treat their customers. Anyways, from what I have read is that a Shell or an Expanded Shell will both work fine with Coin One and Two. Hope your coin sleights are up for it, because the moves aren't beginner coin moves.

Where do you get these cups?

You could actually save the money and just use whatever plastic stacking cups you have and pick up the little balls at Micheal's or any craft store.

    Adam Grace - Ringtone

Well this is something that Adam ends his shows with. I don't see how you could think they were plants.

    Silver Morgan Dollar Shells

I recommend the cheap decent priced one because his friends and strangers really aren't going to notice the difference between a High end Half Dollar and a used one. To most lay people. Most of these coins are all the same. Once you start getting gigs and start being pretty damn good with shells...
