    List on knuckle-busting card moves.

Well, I practiced muscle pass for a while, muscle pass would cause your palm to hurt, but such moves would kinda hurt the neurons of you wrist and palm( more accurately Median and Ulnar nerves), and your hand would feel tired and sore for a while, but not necessarily painful.

    List on knuckle-busting card moves.

And makes you prone to arthritis and CTS (a fun fact, I’m sure my CTS is caused by practicing Kryptonite, Bullet, and Raise Rise).

    List on knuckle-busting card moves.

Well, it depends. For me, something like the ambitious riser or the center deal are knuckle-busting. I struggled with the classic revolution cut much more than Kryptonite by Dan and Dave, but I wouldn’t call either of them truly knuckle busting. Considering the level you are in, your perspective...

    Push off second deal

Well, I have Mr England’s instructions, and Alex Pamdrea’s. But what really helped me the most was Andi Gladwin’s master Pushoff. I’ve been trying to learn from the other 2 sources mentioned above, with no luck. But Mr Gladwin has probably the most detailed video instructions and applications on...

    Piano magic

This really got my creative juices flowing, as it would combine 2 of my main hobbies into one. It could be a classic think of a song trick, and you somehow play what they’re thinking. Or you could use the “CDEFGAB” notes for your prediction. The possiblities would be endless, as you’re...

Is The Expert at The Card Table really all that?

Well, the reason that EatCT is so famous and popular isn’t that it has the best material or the most in depth teaching. The book was written over a hundred years ago, when there was almost no detailed book in existence about sleight of hand with playing cards. It changed the way close up magic...

Am I the only one who thinks that the Classic Pass and Classic Force are overrated?

The classic force is popular for its impossibility. If the person tries to back track, they might think that riffling in order choose a card was suspicious. But even though things like psy forces or the classic force arent 100% accurate, when you correctly hit them, you’ll have a miracle with no...

Have you ever fooled a magician with a double lift? What do you think is the best double lift?

I guess the best double lift is what is most suitable in a specific situation. The ones that I use most frequently, are the push off, Vernon’s Push off, Stuart Gordon and Derek Dingle’s double lift. But depending on the quality of the deck, the type of presentation and performance, and the grip...

Have you ever fooled a magician with a double lift? What do you think is the best double lift?

At least when it comes to fooling magicians, self working tricks usually work much better than sleight intensive ones.

    Baffling magic/mind reading

Yeah, the first effect seems like your typical stacked deck trick, yet with a shuffle. Unless there was some “work” on the deck(e.g crimps, ...) the best explanation is a form of deck switch.

    Steve Forte teachings

He doesnt just use the modified erdnase grip. If I remember correctly, in his GPS series he shows the mechanics grip as well.

The best table sleights (in your opinion)

My main interest in playing cards is with table sleights. I know quite a few of them and cant really choose one as the best one. But here are some of my favorites: Bottom deal ( there are many grips but my favorite is the Gene Maze grip) Strike and Push off second deal Zarrow Shuffle...

    Who is Doc?

Yeah, it’s the same technique. All the videos that I found that demonstrated this technique were exposé and basically revealed that technique.

    Who is Doc?

The only thing I've heard from is a pretty interesting idea in terms of deck switches and cold decks, which is just called "Doc's cold deck". I dont think I'm allowed to share a link, but I'm sure you can find it.
