Mentalists cant do what magicians do. If you do card and coin magic that is no longer mentalism,then no. Magicians can do what mentalists do. But mentalists cant do what magicians do.

You NEED misdirection for magic in general.There is almost(I said almost in case anyone wants to be cute) not one effect that doesnt need misdirection. Ill post more thoughts later,gotta get off for a while.

Why would you do this at waist level anyway? Unless your spectator is at that height(and kids dont give a crap about card magic) then obviously it should be done at chest or eye level.

Card tricks..endless card tricks...it wouldnt be much of a problem if half the people who performed had a real character or personality..or at least looked the spectator in the eye.jesus

ah ok. I have a feeling though that its not going to catch on here as well with the american audiences. And im sure over there its very theatrical,not here where the most I see are self-contained flourishes.

It doesnt matter if they use the clipshift when they're performing. If they dont take advice on how to perform and use the move then so be it. I think what the majority of people here are tired of are those millions of clipshift videos that are all exactly identical. I stray away from these...
